This video is a fun look at how you can get some solar panel added to your house after buying some basic supplies off of Amazon.
He started off with an eight, $160 set of roll up, flexible panels. His idea was that he could easily install them to his roof and still take them with him when he moved.
There are a lot of little parts that are needed. You need connectors and cables to connect the cables.
The installation appears to be pretty quick and straightforward.
There is a good discussion of wiring in parallel or series, with an emphasis on the fact that an array of panels wired in series to avoid losing all power conditions when a solar panel is shaded.
That said, I’m not a fan of his use of hoverboard batteries. Those things are known for catching fire.
